Helen and Colin Shaw love Pukekohe and have lived there all their lives. They built Villa Te Soro over 15 years ago as their family home with the ambition to one day turn it in to a Bed and Breakfast. Now that their two children have left the nest, Helen and Colin have embraced the challenge to provide luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Pukekohe.

Helen loves anything to do with houses, gardens, cooking and people. Her experience and passion as a professional interior designer at Picturebook, can be seen in every detail throughout the home. Helen loves meeting and spending time with all her guests, whipping up some delicious home baking for them to enjoy on arrival and sharing her treasured home with them.

Colin works for Go Bus Transport in Hamilton and has been involved in tourism transport all his life, so for guests it’s like having a personal tour guide on hand.
Both Helen and Colin enjoy socialising with their guests, and as passionate locals will always be around to talk about the local sites, attractions and events that guests can enjoy during their stay.
